Bret Levick and Sven Spieker have been working
together on different projects since the early
90's when they both graduated from The Grove School
Of Music's film scoring program.
Their 1999 self-produced
Pinch Hit Records release 'Excess, Lies and
Heather's Arrest' under the band name GiftHorse
was arguably one of the year's most successful
and critically acclaimed
indie rock endeavors. It sold over 10,000 copies,
charted on commercial radio in 11 markets, kept
them touring for a couple of years and spawned
several licensing deals allowing them to invest
in their studio and start Nightdaddy Music.
Over the years they have licensed compositions
to such companies as Jive Entertainment, CBS,
Teen NBC, MTV, ESPN, HBO, MGA Entertainment and
FOX Television.
